Hey guys, I need some advice. So I've had a set of Rokit 8's, they're about 10 years old. For the past 2 years since I changed apartments, I've been having the speakers picking up background noise, even when plugged in solely to the electricity, no audio. I can tell it's resonance, because I can hear the surge of electricity when the compressor of the fridge comes on, or a heater cuts in.
Now this has been an issue with even the supplier. They haven't figured it out yet, so I'm sort of worried it's from the powerstation or something. So I've been thinking, if I could connect them to a voltage regulator of some kind, that would provide the supply with isolate the supply from the outlet, maybe it could work?
Do you guys have any suggestions? Maybe you've been experiencing something similar.
