I've been working on this song kind of for my own satisfaction, and have been literally stuck on a certain part of it for a few weeks now. I know it might sound stupid, but I was hoping to get valuable insight for possible solutions or methods to induce creativity. I would post a soundcloud link at the bottom for those interested in hearing it. But, it being my first reddit post ever I don't want to break the subreddit's rules lol.
Ive tried running a modulated dubstep growl in the drop, future house sounds, big room super reverb sounds, etc... lol. I want to break away from its style a little bit without it being too drastic or ugly sounding.
I guess Im just asking if:
1.) anybody else has run into this kind of problem where they have an entire song about ready except one part and they can't exactly figure out how to execute it (in this case the drop)
2.) and how you over came such an obstacle.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks my dudes/dudettes! If you'd like to hear it to give some insight or constructive criticism, let me know i'd be happy to link you!
