Over the past 5 months, I have learned a couple of DAWs and played around with some synthesizers.
Now that I feel somewhat comfortable the software, what is a good synth I can learn from? I want to start learning envelopes, LFOs, filters, etc. Is any synth I choose going to essentially teach me the same basic principles?
This is not a question of "What is a good synth I should use?" though. I am looking for something beginner friendly but will allow me to learn the basic principles of synthesis and create a wide variety of sounds.
Thanks
