I've been doing research for a few weeks now and can't decide which DAW to use. I'm mainly looking to create hip hop beats but I also like to dabble in all forms of music. I know FL studio is the standard, but audio recording is a must for me and I don't necessarily want to buy the full version of any daw before I'm certain I like it. Ableton I've heard is mostly for live performances so I don't know if that's for me. A friend of mine has an old version of Logic(whatever came directly before Logic Pro X), would this be acceptable or is old software not going to cut it? I'm on a Mac, and money is a bit of an issue if that wasn't clear. Any advice or opinions would be helpful
