Obviously I know I need more low frequencies and less high frequencies, but are there any good tips for achieving this?
I produce mainly on KRK Rokit 6 monitors (no subwoofer, untreated room) and Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones with some referencing on Apple earbuds and my car stereo.
I feel my car stereo is my best test. If my track is too bright, this is where I can really hear it and realize that I need to take the highs down. Sometimes my tracks will sound fine on all my other listening devices, but the highs will cause actual physical discomfort to my ears in my car (the EQ adjustment is set completely flat in my car BTW).
Could anyone please share some advice to help with this? Thank you!
