I've heard conflicting opinions about how to correctly use a limiter on the master buss. Some say to pull down the threshold until the gain reduction hits between 3 and 5 decibels. Others say to solo the kick, and set the gain so that the transients are just barely triggering the limiter. What do you guys think is the best way to do it?
