This might be hard to describe. I'm looking for a way to convolve, if that's the correct word, a synth with a long audio file, but instead of applying the audio as a reverb tail, it will simply affect the audio moment by moment, with no trailing sound. A vocoder is the closest thing I can think of, but the sound of convolution reverb is a bit more detailed and refined. Does anyone have any suggestions for plugins or software to look into?
