Hey guys, there's this really distinct style of processing percussion that's been trending the past few years.

This is a decent example. Sort of minimal but stands out.
What sort of processing goes into this? I've spent a year trying to figure out and closest I got was incorporating phaser into the processing. Anymore advice anybody can offer that will REALLY nail it?
P.S Don't say quality samples selected, I'm aware of that already.
