I am having the hardest time being satisfied with anything I create. I understand we are own biggest critics, but it feels like none of my elements want to work together. I want to constantly change my melodies, chord progressions, grooves, etc. Doing it at the beginning of a track is acceptable in my opinion, but halfway through when the track is mostly complete is not okay. I end up always fucking up the track. This was never the case when I first started.
I also spend waaaaay too much time thinking about each element of the track. I don't know if I just have a slow workflow at the moment or if I just end up getting lost in my own work.
Has anyone else gone through this, how do you deal with it?
