Recently I stumbled upon this topic and I realized that maybe I was confusing myself whole time. I have to say that I tried to google and investigate it by myself, but I got more lost than i was in the beginning. When do you guys using the "bus" and when "return"? What I know:
When I send ex. vocal to bus → 100% of the signal goes trought the "reverb bus" and than to mix bus.
When I send vocal to return → my vocal stay dry and return will bring me back some portion, that I choose, of that wet signal from return.
My question is: When use bus and when return? Is there even any difference at the end? I hope this topic will help also others - anyway - thank you for your time guys!
