So I've been using mostly my monitors to create my music, and unfortunately some rather cheap earbuds. I know that's not the best way to go about creating music, and I finally have enough saved to get some new higher-end headphones.
What I need to know is whether or not I need a DAC for high impedance headphones when I already have an audio interface. The one I have is the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. I've looked the technical specs of the 2i2, and it seems that I probably would need one from what I understand. It says the headphone output impedance is 10 Ohms for the interface, whereas the headphones I'm looking at are 250. I suppose it may be pretty obvious, but I don't really know what that information means.
