So when I was writing this song, I mixed the drops loop, and got the levels right there, relative to all my other elements. So after, I took the same chord prog. midi and arranged it to my break in the same track I thought I had my levels right. When I played the break, the chords seem so loud, compared to the drop. Is it because the other elements help fill up the headroom? any advice would be greatly appreciated.
