I'm a noob using FL studio as my DAW, and Serum to make my saw. Basically have been watching non stop tutorials how to mix and stuff. Was doing fine, but even making a simple drop I'm finding incredibly difficult as a beginner. Not melody wise, but just the math of everything. The learning curve is quite overwhelming.
Basically I'm trying to make like a glide or swooshing sound throughout a drop. I assume this is created by making my own sidechain I guess? Or something like that? Basically like a kick will hit and then the synth will swoosh in. I can't find any tutorials on how to do this.
