What grants you all the power of inspiration to work on something new and actually follow through with it? Ive been producing for about 7 years now and still have this issue. I can go on a spree of tracks and finish them in a month. then I'm dead. Cant come up with anything new then out of nowhere, it happens again. But I have yet to really identify the cause of the burst of inspiration.
I have a bunch of unfinished things, and just recently decided to make most of my soundcloud tracks private because i noticed I can totally improve them, with the right inspiration, and somewhat perfect them to the best of my current abilities.
I find myself bouncing inbetween genres based on my current mentality and emotions as well, if thats any help to anyones answers, as far as Trance, hardstyle, dubstep, deathstep (even heavier such as minatory), to trap and future.
Music for me is a huge and probably my only passion other than gaming, so any ideas, or tips would be appreciated as I'm sure other people running into the same dilema would.
