I'm wondering how to make the volume of everything drop to zero except for one sample. The effect I'm going for is to have the drop come in, then have everything stop and play the sample, then pick back up.
Obviously I could automate the master volume but that would also bring the samples volume to zero. Any ideas other than running everything else into a separate bus and automating that because something about running 50+ channels into a single bus screams not a good idea.
