So this is my "working" setup
Prophet + Sub phatty going into a Komplete Audio 6, and i use Maschine and ableton. Simple, know how to get all that working.
My cousin is loaning me a bunch of shit while he goes somewhere so now i got this small Alto ZMX862 6 channel mixer, 2 bus mixer and an Elektron Analog Heat for a bit!
How the hell do i get these all working together?
I have never owned a mixer before, and trying to get it all working is doing my head in, so far i've managed to get my synths working through the mixer but only by getting two 1/4 out of the main mix and into the back of my soundcard, so i can play both my synths at the same time and whatnot - but - I tried to plug two 1/4 into the analog heat and into the aux return on the mixer but nada.... This is as far as i've got guys, i genuinely have no clue and am very inept when it comes to working out how to get things going.
I know they are implementing overbridge to make it possible to use it as a VST, which would solve my problem, but my macbook only has two USB ports so what am i gonna do? i wont be able to play my maschine and use the heat at the same time, ****ing apple.
I dunno how to get the analog heat working through the mixer. im lame at this shit.
Im sorry this is all garbled nonsense guys, i'd seriously appreciate someone taking me through this step by step, telling me what im missing here so i can maximise the time i have with this analog heat.
