Hello all. I have been moderately into edm style music for a while now and have actually been playing music for over 6 years. I have about a high school level of musical education when it comes to technique and theory.
Anyway, the big overall point to this post is: I would really like to start making my own music and need some advice on where to start. My future plan is to produce electronic music for fun in the beginning and hopefully become more serious with it. I also have some dreams of becoming a film/game score either player or composer.
As of right now, all I need is an idea of where to start, some decent beginning equipment and software, and an idea of how to learn more about the different parts of making electronic music.
Thank you to anyone who see's this and chooses to help. This could potentially be the moment at which some of my dreams begin to become realities.
