I'm setting up my first studio and the final piece of the puzzle is what I will mix/listen on; monitors or headphones. I've seen a lot of arguments for both but it just confuses me even more as to which one I should use.
My room isn't very good in terms of it's shape, which is why i thought monitors may not be a good fit.
Black Friday is nearly here and deals have already started, I've been saving up for this for a while and I just hope I could get some final piece of advice for which one; monitors or headphones would be the best to go for. It would be difficult for me to fix my room up to improve potential sound. However, if I buy headphones for around £100, I worry they wouldn't be useful for a beginner.
Any advice would be appreciated a lot please!
