When I make tracks in my room, (partway acoustically treated) the highs sound comparable to the reference tracks I use. Although when I bounce it out, it just seems muffled. I'm not sure if I should be using multiband compression, OTT, etc towards the final mixdown/mastering to get the high end to sizzle and sparkle? Any insight would be appreciated :)
