First of all, I'm not looking for sympathy. I want to hear your thoughts on what is the right thing to do with all his music projects, samples, presets and so on. He's been producing for many years and is very skilled, but I would feel dirty making his work mine. Giving all his stuff away for free online would be disrespectful in my opinion. If you died right now, would you be ok with other people digging through your projects and releasing your unfinished tracks? Any thoughts? Thanks. (For the curious, a truck driver was drinking and driving and he smashed into my brothers car from behind while he was waiting for a red light to turn green. He survived through the night but was in extreme pain, then he passed away this morning. It's horrible but life goes on)
