I have come a super long way in a year I can't believe it! I currently use a lot of iOS synths like Korg Gadget, ShapeSynth, and TF7. I also use Garagband for Mac. This is usually for mastering but I do sometimes make a song using it. I hadn't spent more than $75 on producing until I got a Scarlett audio interface and a Audio Technica Mic.
