I've just picked up Syntorial because I want to learn how to program synths. I've read tons of recommendations that Serum is the best synth but I don't see how it lines up with Syntorial, the main oscillator seems to have a billion waves but no plain saw, pulse etc.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Cheers
My current course of action is to use Syntorial and read the Serum manual as well as watch the Introduction to Synthesis videos.
Should I use Serum as my first synth or should I use something simpler that lines up with Syntorial like Sylenth?
