Seriously. It's extremely difficult for people to discover you when you don't have a fanbase. Theres just too many other producers making better quality songs with higher production value.
Been messing around with music production for about six months now. I've got FL studio with a few dozen plugins, and people tell me they like the song, but they wish it would have high quality sounds. Like how can you do that without thousands of dollars worth or vsts and soundbanks? It's been 3 months and I have like 4 soundcloud followers.
Any tips for someone trying to start out?
Edit: Also is a midi keyboard worth investing in? I can't afford one right now but it seems like it could help the flow of music.
