I always hear in tracks vocals layered through pitch shifting to make either chords or just shifted up or down an octave and layered with the original, but when I try and do this with Ableton live and I try and keep the vocals the same speed it always end up very choppy and just generally bad sounding. Is there a clean way to pitch shift in Ableton or are there any good VST's that can cleanly pitch shift but keep the clip stay at the same speed? Any help is appreciated!
