I'm looking to get one of these but apparently the knobs have acceleration which results in having to turn them way more than you should to control certain MIDI parameters. You can technically increase the knob acceleration, and according to the latest firmware (feb 2016), the maximum acceleration has been increased.
The "problem" I'm talking about: https://youtu.be/1beOX3YV5v4?t=18s (watch how much he needs to twist the knob to move the filter cutoff). This knob behaviour is useful to dial in pitch for the sequencer, but I find it annoying to control MIDI parameters.
My question is, do they work properly now? Can you achieve a 1:1 movement (or close to) with your physical knob and the parameter you are controlling via MIDI?
