For a while I've been using Ableton's built in 'Grand Piano' instrument; it's versatile but I just wanted to know if there's anything more suited to my particular genre, future house.
To get that hard hitting thickness from it I've been busing several layers of a piano into a makeup gain compressor with a really low knee. This sounds nice but I feel like I'm missing out on some kind of software loads of producers are using.
