so im trying to look for a decent brass synth, preferably somewhere in the $50 range (i just lost my job so uh, money is tight) or even free. i know i could just get a bunch of, say, trumpet or trombone samples somewhere and modulate their pitch, but im hoping to find a VST or something of the like, that has some brass presets that sound like the real deal. but hey, if nothing comes to mind, no pressure. im looking at kontact cause ive heard people saying it has a good brass VST, but im not prepared to spend $400-$500 on it. Or, if any certain production techniques that come to mind that could add some authenticity to a sample, that would be super cool too.
