About five years ago I started attending piano lessons.
During those lessons I learned the basics of music sheets and theory, but I didn't reach a satisfactory skill level. The lessons felt to me more like memorizing songs and less about actually reading the sheet music. I was frustrated with my progress and eventually I quit for unrelated reasons.
Even though I haven't touched a piano since, I still compose music and I love doing it. I want to be able to perform my own music instead of letting some shitty MIDI do it, so I think I should relearn piano and focus on reading sheet music well.
How can I become good specifically at reading sheet music fluently?
