I have always loved listening to music and as I grow and learn more, I love it even more deeply! Having always wanted to learn how to play an instrument, I finally bought an ocarina! The only problem is.... I don't know a single thing about notes, how to read music, or what any of it means. I'm looking for help on where to find the absolute basics broken down into layman's terms, preferably free (cuz I'm super broke). I tried Googling how to read music, music theory for beginners, etc. but it went straight over my head. Does anyone have any youtube channels or websites you recommend to help me get started?
