Hey! I have no prior experience with anything music: never sung, never played any instruments growing up and never made anything remotely musical. I have these past 5-6 years grown to really like music like vaporwave, chiptune, trap, house and other electronic genres. So I was wondering what (if anything) I need to start music production? I was thinking along the lines of synths/keyboards and software. Also, what books should I get starting out? How do I get started with music theory?
Really excited to try this out, but have absolutely no idea where to start! :P
