Hi, I've been reading through many different guides on production, synthesis, and music theory lately and it's all so much to absorb. Because of this I've seriously considered taking physical notes of different synthesis tricks and different production methods to achieve certain sounds or effects, or what wavetables work well together, etc. in a notebook for easy reference for when I'm working on future projects, etc. Anyway I just wanted to hear from y'all and see if you've ever done anything similar, would recommend it, or had any tips on how to organize such notes and make it the most efficient time-wise and educational-wise.
