I'm been listening to some tracks, and some to drops seem like they have 3 or 4 synths, orchestrated to a central melody, not just layered but cutting in and out of each other with a lot of movement. Am I wrong to think that to do this is to play say one full midi track, and then divide it into separate channels with different synths? Any advice in creating leads like this? (Hope this makes sense, it's hard to explain)
