If LUFS on youtube is -13 and 192...should I master exactly at that ? Some beats on youtube have tighter kicks and 808s than others (obviously more experienced mixers but still). Even the overall volume seems nicer. I know edm is like -8 ish. I make trap type beats btw...Should I aim for -10 LUFS maybe or what ? For maximum GOODNESS? Anyone test this out btw ?
Also, would mastering above or below this value trigger the compression and result in good or bad compression ? Is it pleasant for 808 heavy trap beats? (Maybe some of these producers rely on the youtube compression😂😂)
