Hey, guys! I am here to let you know of a program I just released for mac called Ample ( don't worry, a PC version is on the way!). Ample helps you organize your sample library by allowing you to make tags and then organize your music based on those tags.
For example, you could create tags like Kick, Dubstep, and Future and label some kicks as kick and dubstep and others as kick and future and simply some as just kick. Then, when you go to filter by Kick and Dubstep, it will only show samples that are tagged as Kick and Dubstep.
Another cool feature is that it will automatically tag samples for you when you make a new tag. That way you don't have to go through and tag each every one of your snare drums.
Ample is a very young project and is something that will continue to grow. You can grab it for free until this Friday(3/28) on our website: http://theampleapp.com
P.S. I am open to feature suggestions, just send me an email: ben@theampleapp.com
