I know the post seems almost super general, but i'm having this issue where I made a cool track with a heavily automated LFO modulating a good amount of parameters, and I can't seem to replicate the same movement with my sub bass.
I'm running Serum, I figured it'd just be best to duplicate the track, wipe everything on the preset except for the LFO and just have the LFO modulate the sub bass' volume, it generally gets the shape when I solo the track, but it lacks the depth because the shapes are hitting a lower volume as well with the LFO modulation.
I figured a lot of traditional dubstep users usually have ENV based modulation and simply re-trigger the notes via midi, and it allows for an easier transition when making the sub, but unfortunately I did it the LFO modulation route.
Am I missing something? Is there a different way to capture the movement? because as of now my sub is a 16 bar brick in the same key which only has a SC comp giving it some movement, pretty boring.
Any advice is greatly appreciated
