Picture you walk into a class room and papers are flying everywhere. Students are sitting on the desk and causing all kinds of commotion. That my friends is how my tracks feel when I compose. My melody is saying one thing, the chords are saying another and the bass is in the back trying to be the bully by getting all the attention. Does anyone have a great way of explaining how great artist have tight tracks that seem to flow cohesively? To add: I have been teaching myself music theory and how to play the keys for about a year now. I don't think i'm grasping everything fully or maybe i'm overthinking this. peace!
