I'm in love with the drop in this song. It's metal, but I hear these super heavy side chained saws. Any ideas on how to remake this sound but edm style?

Here's the song. The drop is at 2:16. Seriously, just hum some side chained bass notes to this section in quarter notes. I think it could be awesome and I'd like to tackle it. Any advice on things my ears might not have picked up?

I'm kinda thinking this kind of side chained drop, at 3:06. Thanks!
