I have posted in the weekly feedback thread once a week in the r/trapproduction thread and every time, people say what they think should be different and never say they like the content. my soundcloud is soundcloud.com/takenin and i have only been working consistently for about 5 months now but it's been every day and i thought i would at least make music people enjoy by now. i say this because other people in the same thread say they have been making music for only 2 months and stuff like that and they obviously seem to like it more than the music i am making after 5 months of hard work. So my question is, should i change up my style? Try just following the herd until i can really find my own style? I don't really know where to go from here because all of my songs kind of sound similar in how they are kind of experimental and different than everyone else's. Any advice? I really want to keep going but don't know which direction to take from here if that makes sense and it has me stumped
