I cannot seem to focus on a particular task for very long before I either lose interest or move onto something else. I like to think of it as having ADHD but relating it to music endeavors. Occasionally every once in a blue moon, I can sit down for 3 hours straight and make a very solid track idea which makes me feel very satisfied that I actually accomplished something. However, after this three hour period, I cannot add to it to save my damn life. I either mess up a perfectly fine idea and ruin its potential or I find I add then remove and continue wasting time.
On a typical day, I try to merge so much into one day and accomplish the most but I inevitably accomplish hardly anything. I try to fit in piano, guitar, production and learning new things from Youtube. Daily, I get not even half of that done. I am constantly repeating this cycle, and not finishing tracks. I feel I am not getting better at becoming a musician and working on music starts to become a tedious task to me. I love music when it just flows, but in reality that is VERY rare to occur. What am I doing wrong? How should I manage my time between the many thing I want to do?
