Part of what im missing in my pads is that "Extra" sound that analog pads have naturally, that hardware vst don't have.
So far what i've done is add a little bit of distortion, bit crushing, and a little bit of pitch LFO to kinda create movement.
I can't have too much obvious movements in sound or else i can't re-sample my pads( They'll come out too slow or fast in Direct Wave).
For reference, i'm trying to get pad sounds like these (1 & 2)
