Hi everyone. Just a real quick question on bouncing midi to audio. Say, for example, you have that perfect 8 bar synth/bass line in midi. Do you wait until you arrange those 8 bars throughout your track, and then bounce that track to audio for further editing or do you prefer to bounce the 8 bars right away, then edit and expand there?
I’m thinking of exporting bars of raw midi to audio, then adding plugins to the audio file, then looping the bars in arrangement sessions. I’m just wondering if this is a good idea or if I should add my plugins to the midi first, arrange whole sections, then bounce the sections to audio (shorter, unedited clips vs. longer, processed clips)
Thanks everyone.
